1. Create and collaborate on immersive, data-driven maps from anywhere, with the new Google Earth.
2. See the world from above with high-resolution satellite imagery, explore 3D terrain and buildings in hundreds of cities, and dive in to streets and neighborhoods with Street View's 360° perspectives.
1. Update: App has been updated again, it no longer just up and quits but now it locks up completely and has to be force-stopped to get the phone to work again.I don't know what they did but the map no longer displays borders, or labels of any kind, no matter what "map style" is clicked.
2. Another thing I would like to say is that when measuring, every time I try to move the screen while putting down points, the screen moves really weirdly.
3. 😉I really do like this app.... but... if a bunch of app design engineers decided to figure out the absolute worst place they could have possibly put the Street View tool, they got it exactly right.
4. There are too many functions controlled by finger movements (zoom, spin and elevation), so it doesn't do what you want half the time.
5. The qt on the corner? The Costco down the road? The library, gas station, even the field between the Baptist church and Napa... I can understand the White House, Capital, Pentagon, Prisons, etc.
6. It's really neat to be given the ability to view seemingly any place's surroundings and location, and to do it from angles that let you view every detail.
7. But the app will black out many times, usually when going to street mode or a photo sphere.
8. It is nearly impossible to use this app without going into Street View multiple times and having to back out from it.
9. I use it all the time to find interesting photography locations whenever I'm traveling or setting out on a hike.
10. This isn't the first time I've gone through a period of time when the app is completely useless.
11. Also, rendered objects like trees will stop you from going lower and when you hit them it sends you spinning again.
