1. It gives you instant access to all your SaaS and web apps, your mobile and virtual apps, files, and desktops from an easy-to-use, all-in-one interface powered by Citrix Workspace services.
2. Built on the Raspberry Pi 3 platform, the Citrix Ready workspace hub provides a secure connection to authorized apps and data.
3. The new Citrix Workspace app (formerly known as Citrix Receiver) provides a great user experience - a secure, contextual, and unified workspace - on any device.
4. Citrix Workspace app for Android supports user authentication to Citrix Ready workspace hubs as an experimental feature.
5. Note: Location permission is required for the Citrix Ready workspace hub experimental feature.
6. Enable the Citrix accessibility service to have a smooth functioning of Citrix Workspace app sessions.
7. This virtual channel allows Workspace to redirect sensor information to applications running on server.
8. For example, applications can use accelerometer data to drive 3D-modelling application, use ambient light level to control the brightness of the screen, use location data to alter behavior of application, and so on.
9. Just ask your IT department how to get started. • Provide single sign on capabilities with Citrix SecureHub and Citrix Files.
10. This means that you can use your local device storage or mass storage devices(for example, pen drives) to copy and paste documents between the session and the user device.
11. You can deny this permission if there are no workspace hubs present.
1. I just want the screen to remain in the full view with the keyboard pinned, please just make this a checkbox option.Works surprisingly well, but two complaints: -There isn't a button in the toolbar to just disconnect (or it's not obvious, hitting back seems to be the correct way), the button that seems to do that will sign me out before disconnecting, which is not wanted.
2. The app seems to think I'm using a touch screen (I am not) and the touchpad doesn't work correctly: it won't let me scroll with my touchpad--every time I try, it selects text instead of scrolling & controls are reversed.
3. -There should be an option to enable cursor by default (not obvious if this is an option already), since the tap click isn't great when accessing a VM on a phone.UPDATE: Why can't the dropdown-arrow menu be smaller and moved around, like on the ipad and PC app? I raised this issue over a year ago and nothing has been done.
4. I talked to several different people in tech support at work and after troubleshooting they all said it must be an issue with the citrix app.
5. It can take an inordinate amount of troubleshooting and luck to get it to connect and actually run programs, yet when it finally opens it is very difficult to get it to respond to commands on anything other than a desktop computer.
6. However, When I have the window fully maximized, I accidentally close the window all the time, as I always mix up the 'X' in the top right corner with an app within a Citrix Windows environment.
7. SLACK calls don't work so well anymore they just continue to ring and never connect even though myself or the other party has connected.
8. We end up uninstalling it and reinstalling Citrix Receiver v12.Bringing this down to a one... After my Samsung 9+ received an update to OneUI, I can't see anything as all the icons and and everything else is White.
9. Clicking on certain boxes causes the window to auto zoom and center - just all bizarre behaviors and I cant figure out what triggers them.
10. Get a 'general error'...how informative is that? I'm using it on my Chromebook since Citrix Receiver is no longer available.
11. If the android app had the same functionality as other Citrix versions, problem would be solved.
