1. and for some reason Motorola decided that even if you get another camera that's slightly newer it won't connect to the same monitor you have to use two separate monitors and a separate app if you want to use your phone.
2. After updating the app and the camera software, a few reboots of both phone and monitor, and reselecting the timezone, I finally got the app showing the right time and temp.
3. I'm completely connected and yet still have problems connecting to my camera! When it finally does connect, it's out 2 seconds later "getting the stream" and for way too long! Been trying to look now for 20 minutes.
4. Most of the time, it will not connect with the camera even though everything is set up and it was working properly an hour before that ("Camera status change failed").
5. Also, when you minimize the camera to open another app, the app automatically disconnects and displays an error.For an app that is designed to go with a baby monitor I am very disappointed with the fact that the app constantly resets the sensor settings.
6. the system is clunky and Motorola doesn't seem to care about some of the camera models it has.It took two days for the camera update in the app to stop failing and I guess finally update it.
7. Horrible experience.My Motorola camera and monitor are actually pretty good if you're using them in sync.
8. Off to find a better server.Just barely bought this monitor and downloaded the app at the end of August and everything worked great! After the 9/13 update it will never connect for more than a few seconds if at all.
9. Sometimes the app doesn't connect to the camera or half the frame is blurred.
10. It takes a while to re-pair, it takes a long time to connect when turning it on again, and can often lose connection while streaming.
11. Since our camera comes with a wireless monitor, this isn't too bad.
