About PRO TREK Connected

2. Pairing your watch with a smartphone enables use of a variety of different Mobile Link functions that greatly enhance the smartphone experience.

3. By updating to version 3. 0, users of this app will be able to transfer their user data to CASIO WATCHES via this app.

4. The PRO TREK Connected app also simplifies certain watch operations by letting you perform them on your phone screen.

5. Even if an operating system has been confirmed as compatible, software updates or display specifications may prevent proper display and/or operation.

6. If the app does not operate properly with the smartphone in power saving mode, please turn off power saving mode before use.

7. This is the basic application for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth(R) v4. 0 enabled CASIO watch.

8. If the smartphone is set to power saving mode, the app may not operate properly.

PRO TREK Connected Customer Insights

1. When connected to phone you cannot touch any buttons on the watch or app disconnects! Why it requires location enabled just to connect to the watch? The app does not have the only additional useful function listed in the manual, the phone finder to ring the phone! The app is just a gimmick to sound like a smart watch.

2. The only way to get rid of it is to disable app's notifications but this leads to the watch not being able to connect to the phone while the screen is off; you have to manually open the app and then start Route Log which defeats the purpose of usability; it should always connect to the phone while it's off and tucked away in the backpack.

3. You need a device with good gps capabilities because the watch gets the GPS coordinates from the phone.

4. THE APP should push information and settings to the watch, not the other way! (when syncing from the watch) The gps tracking feature has no rivalry with other apps with the same function.

5. You need to carry phone near the watch when connected.

6. Location Point fails way too many times to connectIt serves no additional purpose over the watch.

7. Phone already does what the watch does& more.

8. However for accuracy in temperature you need to remove the watch for a short period of time, otherwise body heat affects it.

9. I never received a prompt or command to pair the watch to my phone.

10. The watch already has the data which can be regularly adjusted/updated by connecting to the phone.

11. And finally, you have to open the app first to use some watch functions, that's almost like you need three hands for that.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix PRO TREK Connected Issues

1. Fix PRO TREK Connected Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart PRO TREK Connected: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the PRO TREK Connected App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "PRO TREK Connected" » Open PRO TREK Connected » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for PRO TREK Connected » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear PRO TREK Connected app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from PRO TREK Connected servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "PRO TREK Connected" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check PRO TREK Connected app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, PRO TREK Connected might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall PRO TREK Connected. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall PRO TREK Connected then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing PRO TREK Connected not working


2. Fix PRO TREK Connected Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make PRO TREK Connected be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to PRO TREK Connected not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, PRO TREK Connected may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
