Why should I report an Issue with Connected: Locate Your Family?

1. It is great to see where they sped, but I would like to know the actual speed in the reports.Half the time you cannot locate the person , the other half the system takes days and weeks to update the travel history.

2. 12-9 took off my phone, reinstalled, location on all the time, battery saver off, wi fi on....still only loads a quarter of the time otherwise just the blue Connected screen.

3. What's the point of it if it drains the battery so fast that it must be disabled almost immediately? I suspect the energy requirements are due to all the miscellaneous tracking features... NOT related to the core functionality.

4. The interface is a mess and doing anything useful would require the user to spend money on this steaming pile of vomit.Started out good last year when I installed it but for around the past month not so much.

5. Says I'm at one place on my phone, but on my other phone it says the location hasn't been uploaded, etc.This app can't be used.

6. It keeps trying to force you to change settings on your phone that you don't want and harrass you with notifications that aren't notifications.

7. Love the app btw.(free version) Worked well at first, but now it's laggy and it doesn't update the position properly.

8. I find it hilarious that they want people to pay money for standard features when the features that are free barely work.

9. It always alerted me to change my settings even though my batery saver wasn't on but worked fine.

10. I had the location on, battery saver off and everything else I could do to enhance tracking.

11. Tried updating rom, downgrading, clearing caches, reinstalling relevant apps, nothing worked.

1. Fix Connected Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Connected: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Connected App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Connected" » Open Connected: Locate Your Family » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Connected » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Connected: Locate Your Family app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Connected servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Connected: Locate Your Family" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Connected app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Connected might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Connected. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Connected then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Connected not working

2. Fix Connected Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Connected be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Connected not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Connected may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
