About OCEANUS Connected

1. Pairing your watch with a smartphone enables use of a variety of different Mobile Link functions that greatly enhance the smartphone experience.

2. Even if an operating system has been confirmed as compatible, software updates or display specifications may prevent proper display and/or operation.

3. If the app does not operate properly with the smartphone in power saving mode, please turn off power saving mode before use.

4. The OCEANUS Connected app also simplifies certain watch operations by letting you perform them on your phone screen.

5. If the smartphone is set to power saving mode, the app may not operate properly.

6. This is the basic application for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth(R) v4. 0 enabled CASIO watch.

7. We recommend using OCEANUS Connected on the following operating systems.

8. OCEANUS Connected cannot be used on Android feature phones with arrow keys.

9. Operation is not guaranteed for any operating system not listed below.

OCEANUS Connected Customer Insights

1. This kind of quality engineering is hard to find!The app works just fine, but I do have to ask why is the app being phased out and replaced with an inferior product (Casio Watches which is nothing but a load of tracking an advertising bloatware)? I will therefore keep using the Oceanus app as long as it works and then my lovely watch goes into the bin! Thanks Casio.Really easy to use.

2. It makes syncing the time very reliable, enables managing various watch settings and on some phones enables other features like a phone finder and monitoring watch charge levels.

3. In particular I love the weekly report on whether the watch has been able to get time sync signals.

4. The watch stays in connecting position and phone shows it is ttying to connect, but then does not connect and watch goes to regilar operation.I am using this app on an LG V30 with an S4000 watch and it has performed beautifully.

9. I like the graph but I would like to view time self adjustment events as a table where I could see distinct Bluetooth and MB6 adjustment events.You have to scroll through some legal stuff before you are able to use the app.

10. Kudos to Citizen for jerking me around on the new watch I bought from them last year.

11. Cumulative synchronization attempts over the watch's lifetime isn't as useful as e.g. attempts per day.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix OCEANUS Connected Issues

1. Fix OCEANUS Connected Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart OCEANUS Connected: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the OCEANUS Connected App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "OCEANUS Connected" » Open OCEANUS Connected » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for OCEANUS Connected » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear OCEANUS Connected app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from OCEANUS Connected servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "OCEANUS Connected" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check OCEANUS Connected app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, OCEANUS Connected might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall OCEANUS Connected. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall OCEANUS Connected then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing OCEANUS Connected not working


2. Fix OCEANUS Connected Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make OCEANUS Connected be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to OCEANUS Connected not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, OCEANUS Connected may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
