1. Please, give us the option of creating an account or some kind of log memory that let us recover the sessions because my phone is a bit old and often needs a clean restore, but when I reinstall the app I can't always remember how many sessions I had on each zone, only the last time if I can find it on Google calendar.

2. Useless app...Very Disappointed.... This app has NO OPTION to used it with the model G931A! What's the point!!!I've installed it again after a long time and hoped I'd see some improvements, but instead I see that now my device model doesn't appear on the list anymore.

3. Does not work to connect with my G946E at all.

4. I'll select one that looks more similar, but still, I don't know why they took it away.

5. "Connection error", whatever that means.

6. It's so annoying.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Homelight Connected Issues

1. Fix Homelight Connected Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Homelight Connected: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Homelight Connected App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Homelight Connected" » Open Homelight Connected » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Homelight Connected » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Homelight Connected app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Homelight Connected servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Homelight Connected" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Homelight Connected app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Homelight Connected might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Homelight Connected. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Homelight Connected then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Homelight Connected not working


2. Fix Homelight Connected Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Homelight Connected be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Homelight Connected not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Homelight Connected may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
