1. I love having my [complicated] medical history available when needed! In fact, it became necessary after I had my lower jaw all but severed by a dog bite! We were in Podunk & outside my med coverage area - the information provided to the entire team working on me led to an infusion my blood required & work that led to an incredible recovery.

2. This was the only way I could continuously share my emergency medical info with family.Literally the only thing that would make this app perfect is a way to access info from your lockscreen like some other emergency contact apps I've tried.

3. Otherwise, this app is wonderful, and everything I need to keep doctors informed about my very complex medical history, and give them reliable resources on my rare conditions.I came to BPH after my former app ceased.

4. It also has made things easy w/new doctors.When I go to the Emergency card to try and upload a lock screen picture so I can add the code to the lock screen all it will do when I click on save is spen around in circles.

5. You can't add any medical condition, etc.Very useful but the app runs slow.I wish there was a way of keeping track of appointments.

6. But the app has been discontinued - it's here, yes, but there is no customer support and a bug that prevents you from adding anything from a condition to an allergy to a medicine, making the app useless now.

7. How can I fix this????I cannot use the note option, it freezes when I open it on a blank white page with no way of going back without shutting the app down.The app is useless.

1. Fix Backpack Health Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Backpack Health: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Backpack Health App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Backpack Health" » Open Backpack Health » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Backpack Health » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Backpack Health app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Backpack Health servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Backpack Health" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Backpack Health app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Backpack Health might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Backpack Health. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Backpack Health then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Backpack Health not working

2. Fix Backpack Health Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Backpack Health be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Backpack Health not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Backpack Health may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
