1. Data and messaging used in replying to and forwarding voicemail messages via SMS, MMS, or e-mail are counted against your data and/or messaging plan, and applicable charges apply if data and/or messaging plan limits are exceeded.
2. International data and messaging charges apply to receiving, replying to, and forwarding voicemail messages while roaming internationally.
3. Note: Receiving voicemail on this app does not count against your data rate plan allotment while on the AT&T network.
4. A cellular data or Wi-Fi Calling connection is required; AT&T Visual Voicemail does not work on a Wi-Fi only connection.
5. AT&T Visual Voicemail allows you to review and manage your voicemail directly from your smartphone eliminating the need to dial into your mailbox. • A supported Android smartphone.
6. Data charges may apply when downloading this application or using text transcription.
7. If you encounter setup problems, view your account at att. com or on the myAT&T app to confirm you have the right plan.
8. Note: Non-AT&T variant smartphones may not be compatible.
9. This app may send a free one-time SMS to AT&T to retrieve mailbox information.
1. Because AT&T is similar to a utility company, they have very few competitors and have no incentive to improve this app (sort of like the government).Keeps beeping! Everytime I don't check my voicemail and let's say there are three, the notification tone keeps playing while I'm trying to listen to the messages.
2. I say "luckily" because this is the only option that AT&T provides (3rd-party voicemail apps are never guaranteed to work flawlessly), & AT&T's apps are usually complete trash that only serve to bloat the phones they sell in store.
3. Well after a week or two of uninstalling/ reinstalling waiting to see if would start working, I come back for a final uninstall and to leave a low rating I read someone's update to there bad review experience and saw that you have to go to app settings and allow permissions to everything except microphone and now it works.
4. But a well-behaved app wouldn't hinge on a user figuring that out. It's not perfect by any means; voice transcription will occasionally make some very amusing mistakes, & its control of the proximity sensor is fickle to the point of being unreliable, on top of the app style being fairly rough.
5. Employees at locally ATT store said they would have to call advanced tech support and it would "take awhile" and I would need to stay in the store with the phone.
6. Maybe it's network issues and not the app specifically, but hopefully the feedback helps improve something regardless. It loads up describing what it does first screen but does NOT do anything else beyond that.
7. Edit: After opening the apps settings and manually granting access to everything except mic, I reopened the app and it resized itself enough for me to push the activate button.
8. I bought my phone online, so I had the option to choose which AT&T apps I wanted, so I installed the one that I can pay my bill with, & this one.
9. What's wrong , ATT, that you can't have a voicemail app that works? After several attempts and over two hours of the spinning ball and "Setting up your account" message, I gave up.
10. I will see I missed a call and open the app to see if there is a voicemail, but it still doesn't show up until days later.
11. Never going back to AT&T again. This app does not work in 2023.
