1. After June 30, 2018, the Cellcom Visual Voicemail App will no longer support outdated Android versions below 4. 0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) for security reasons. Android versions 4. 0 - 4. 4. 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, and Kit Kat) will continue to be supported, but you will need an up-to-date version of Google Play Services installed in order for the app to function properly.
2. With Cellcom Visual Voicemail there is no need to call in or listen to your voicemail messages in sequential order.
3. Instead, you will see a list of your voicemail messages on your Android smartphone, and select in any order, which ones you wish to play, call back, forward or delete.
4. You can quickly get to the most important messages first, or delete unwanted messages without even listening to them. • Pause, rewind and fast-forward messages while playing. • Reply to voicemail messages by a call back or text message.
5. ** NOTE: If you are experiencing stability issues with the Cellcom Visual Voicemail app, please ensure you have the latest version installed before calling support.
6. NOTICE: Cellcom’s Visual Voicemail App sends outgoing SMS messages to communicate with the voicemail server.
7. ALERT: The PCI Security Council has mandated a rule based on vulnerabilities associated with security protocols used by outdated operating systems.
8. This app is updated regularly in an effort to ensure stability and security.
9. Cellcom customers are not charged for this outgoing SMS message.
1. Later edit: We called Cellcom customer service and a technician was able to make notifications work for me!!Terribly designed app, but still better than standard voicemail to manage all the spam.
2. It doesn't notify me of a new voicemail and then all of a sudden I have 12 new voicemails from up to a month ago? When I delete an old voicemail, listen to the next one and then go to delete that it, it will not delete.
3. The Cellcom downloaded and set up fine, it kept my same voicemail greeting, the app found a saved voicemail that I knew was in my mailbox, and it showed a new voicemail in the main screen as soon as I got it.
4. Amongst all the negative reviews lately, I decided to try the app again, since I still have yet to find a different working visual voicemail app in the Play Store.
5. If I receive a voicemail or text message, I get 2 additional pop-ups telling me I have a voicemail, and to install a visual voicemail even though I have this app installed.
6. Having to remember to call in to check voicemail is a major issue in emergency situations and for my job/business.
7. Now it displays a message that I've "enabled data-saving," & it may cause things to not work... 1st off, I've never changed my settings, &, 2nd, there is no info given on how to fix that.Update: latest update seems to have fixed the problem.
8. It says it cannot connect to my voicemail platform, and tells me to check my network settings.
9. Can't delete a voicemail from 8 months ago.
10. Regularly fails to notify me that I have a message-- notification will suddenly appear after I've already checked voicemail in the conventional way.
11. I have to close the app and then reopen it for each voicemail to delete.
