1. What good is it to have email on your phone, when you have to have a computer to open the attachments?! The issue has nothing to do with encryption (like the article you suggested I read), it says "failure to download attachment, please try again"There was an update on June 22nd that has completely destroyed my experience on my Android system.

2. I want individual emails! So much gets missed and when I open an email it shows them in chronological order from oldest to newest, so I have to scroll through multiple emails to get to the newest information.

3. Having to change notifications, re sync, and restart my phone just to get email notifications.

4. I unchecked conversations in the settings and it still does it It also caused canceled drafts to get stuck in the chain as well.I have to open the app in order to get notifications, despite having battery optimizations turned off and the app allowed to run in the background.

5. I tried to send an important email and a week later I find out it was "queued" that whole time.

6. In addition the app will "queue" an email to be sent and not send it for upwards of a week without telling me.

7. Since the update I have missed orders due to there being no notifications for email.

8. I've waited a couple of weeks and have had to switch to the Samsung email app to take care of important email related work while away from my desk.

9. You need to revert back the color of the icon for the notifications and stop forcing it to blend in with the color palette or the scheme of the system that is being chosen on Android phones.

10. FIX THIS also, why cant I just hit a resend tab or something??? Nothing of the sort exists.I get a notification that I have a new email.

11. The search engine blows and the email is clearly completely unreliable.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Gmail Issues

1. Fix Gmail Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Gmail: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Gmail App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Gmail" » Open Gmail » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Gmail » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Gmail app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Gmail servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Gmail" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Gmail app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Gmail might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Gmail. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Gmail then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Gmail not working


2. Fix Gmail Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Gmail be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Gmail not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Gmail may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • There is an active account that a romance scammer is using to extort my wife. It is under the email address johnfredricktxt83@redacted he also sometimes uses officeline55@redacted . He has extorted about 5500.00 dollars so far. This should be addressed.

  • Hello, i recently downloaded the app Unblur Photo Cam - Dizzy on the 10/4/2021 i was completely unaware of the annual purchase i remember purchasing the app for $2.99 weekly but then i wasnt happy with the app and deleted it when i checked my account $49.99 was taken from my account!! i didnt even know there was an annual option im not happy because i did not even use the app for more than a day and i dont plan on using it ever again im happy for yout to take the $3 but $50 is way too much for less then 10 minutes
