AT&T Photo Storage Customer Insights

1. So I leave it open on screen and its still taking forever.PLEASE FIX!!! Their is no way to backup your photos and videos if the app doesn't do it automatically.

2. The biggest issues is that it has been attempting to upload pictures for 5 days now, it will upload a couple, then it just freezes up and wont make any progress for hours.

3. I have a lot of archived photos on my SD card that I really didn't want to back up again, but there is no option to be able to ignore them.

4. The quality doesn't render as the original photos and when you try to download, the app freezes and crashes.

5. UPDATE: I've reached out and requested assistance to get the 90.8 GB of photos and videos that I have backed up and apparently NO ONE knows how to export them out.

6. So, then I go to check uploaded photos with 100% correct password and now I'm locked out for 24 hours.

7. I upgraded to unlimited storage due to the obvious of Google photos, but is very slow of backing up photos.

8. Force killing thr app or restarting the phone don't seem to make a difference either.Problems with this app are: 1- It's so painfully slow its virtually useless! I downloaded the app 5 days ago.

9. The biggest issue so far is the message I keep getting, "backup paused, no wi-fi connection", yet I'm connected to wi-fi.

10. Give me the option to choose photos!!Needs a lot of work.

11. (I have fast business internet so the problem isn't my wifi) 3- I selected to back up over data if wifi isn't available hoping that would help.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AT&T Photo Storage Issues

1. Fix AT&T Photo Storage Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart AT&T Photo Storage: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AT&T Photo Storage App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AT&T Photo Storage" » Open AT&T Photo Storage » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AT&T Photo Storage » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AT&T Photo Storage app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AT&T Photo Storage servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AT&T Photo Storage" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AT&T Photo Storage app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AT&T Photo Storage might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AT&T Photo Storage. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AT&T Photo Storage then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AT&T Photo Storage not working


2. Fix AT&T Photo Storage Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AT&T Photo Storage be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AT&T Photo Storage not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AT&T Photo Storage may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Can someone please help me I have tried for two months to get this resolved called multiple number spoke to multiple people chatted with people online with protech spoke to supervisors with Protech and within the AT&T network I cannot get a resolution please someone help me reset my password so I can get my pictures
