1. Video calls always work well with a good connection on both endsThe app shows me as "away" after a few minutes of running in the background....which isn't great, because I use the app for work and I need to reflect my availability accurately.

2. They'd see you were on it, and some would just migrate to it on their own to access all the features.... Just a thought.I used to use Skype all the time and it worked great! The quality on the video and recording is good.

1. Fix Skype Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Skype: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Skype App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Skype" » Open Skype » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Skype » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Skype app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Skype servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Skype" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Skype app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Skype might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Skype. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Skype then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Skype not working
