1. i could not find a way to capture also still photos... i guess it is missing this functionality.very good info on how to get it going, works great on my old Sony phone, my only thing is orientation, when I look at the captures to get it to play full screen I need to turn it upside down, could be something I'm doing when placing the phone standing upright to capture ?, but apart from that I like it thanks for the quick response, I can wait till update cheersI cannot access the configuration settings, there is no button or other way I can find to access the settings such as where to save the recorded video, delay time, etc.

2. I set it up to record a birthday surprise and the video had a recording error, which takes the value out of the app.I went through almost every app to find something that could record video or images on my phone through motion detection.

1. Fix MoCa Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MoCa: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MoCa App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MoCa" » Open MoCa - Motion Detection Camera and Dashcam » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MoCa » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MoCa - Motion Detection Camera and Dashcam app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MoCa servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MoCa - Motion Detection Camera and Dashcam" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MoCa app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MoCa might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MoCa. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MoCa then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MoCa not working

2. Fix MoCa Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MoCa be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MoCa not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MoCa may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
