Zoetropic Customer Insights

1. Whatever they are uploading, even after that they are not able to do any work.Constantly crashes and it won't export any videos, I paid for the standard version so I can generate videos without the watermark and the watermark is still there.I'm absolutely speechless.

2. Within 24 hours they responded and updated my account, prior to that I did have to purchase the STANDARD one time charge in order to use without watermark, but I'm more than happy to have Standard and Club both.

3. Not worth the monthly price and feels like a scam how they sold it to me as a one time purchase and now all of a sudden its a recurring payment.Best animation app.

4. Currently it places the watermark on some of the animation portion of the photo, which makes the created photo slightly worthless.

5. They decided to make it a monthly payment recently so the features I paid for were removed because of this new monthly subscription.

6. It doesn't make any sense to me that i paid for all features to not be able to download the final product.

7. The app itself is kind of tedious to move around in the image and is a little time consuming to edit everything (to make it perfect) However, for its basic purpose of making a still image have movement.

8. I noticed some of you are saying there's no erase feature anymore but there is! There's a toggle switch to the left side when you choose "mask".

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Zoetropic Issues

1. Fix Zoetropic Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Zoetropic: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Zoetropic App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Zoetropic" » Open Zoetropic - Photo in motion » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Zoetropic » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Zoetropic - Photo in motion app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Zoetropic servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Zoetropic - Photo in motion" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Zoetropic app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Zoetropic might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Zoetropic. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Zoetropic then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Zoetropic not working


2. Fix Zoetropic Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Zoetropic be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Zoetropic not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Zoetropic may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
