1. The tools offered as a mobile app are enough to carry out most of the typical online banking transactions.App is better than it used to be but, Malta's online and mobile banking is severely lacking, you can make bill payments from the app and the IBAN number system just makes it complicated, you can't view statements ,you have to log to the main web to add all your accounts so that they are visible on the app.
2. Makes it so cheap and ... Finally I managed to download the old version and I hope HSBC will keep it since it is working ok.The app improved over time, but honestly, you have to do way better if you want to keep up with Revolut and other guys.
3. I want meaningful analytics.Rated 1 star because it caused me a bunch of unrelated problems in the past like getting locked out, verification not working, funds not showing etc but today was really too much.
4. Thanks to the new "authentication" process I can't even top up revoult cards or other platforms that require top ups as the app keeps crashing!! I suggest you fire whoever came out with this app as cleary they are better off doing something else.
5. HSBC definitely needs an upgrade in order to keep up with their competitors.A total failure and an excuse of an app.
6. You can't view your statements, block or unblock cards , view your pin ect.. this just some feedback to improve the system.Months with the same bug.
7. Of course I uninstalled the old one, so now for a simple balance check I have to go to the main website.
8. You need to register for internet banking which needed a customer number... which is usually found on a statement.
9. No fingerprint unlock, transfers still require full bank account details, zero "extras" like split-bill etc.
10. HSBC needs to step up the features for this to be any real use in today's world.Useless app.
11. So dissappointed with your service.I used to love this app but the internal transfer feature stopped working.
