Why should I report an Issue with WiFi Map®: Internet, eSIM, VPN?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Probably they just stole someone else's outdated data set from a long time ago and then covered it with spam to try to make money.I haven't found one wifi spot yet that gave me access other than normal open access.

2. I would have given 4 stars out of gratitude if they had issued a partial refund at the start, but they only refunded me because of the initial 1-star review.Used to be good, now destroyed by the greed.

8. The idea behind the app is great: offer a Wi-Fi database that is entirely created and maintained by the users.

9. So, three stars for a great idea and good app, but minus two because it often doesn’t contain correct information and there is no easy way to make corrections as an app user.

10. However, this is also the weakest point of the app because people keep moving and/or changing their Wi-Fi passwords and routers.

11. It will ONLY search for free directly around you - something you could do by opening your settings and scanning for wifi connections.

1. Fix WiFi Map Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart WiFi Map: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the WiFi Map App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "WiFi Map" » Open WiFi Map®: Internet, eSIM, VPN » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for WiFi Map » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear WiFi Map®: Internet, eSIM, VPN app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from WiFi Map servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "WiFi Map®: Internet, eSIM, VPN" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check WiFi Map app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, WiFi Map might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall WiFi Map. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall WiFi Map then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing WiFi Map not working

2. Fix WiFi Map Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make WiFi Map be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to WiFi Map not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, WiFi Map may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
