About CBP One

1. _------_ My only recommendation is to use network location, cellphone tower location info, plus gps location to cut down with thousands of people trying to get an appointment while outside of Mexico therefore bogging down the system to everyone spending months in shelters trying to do the right thing by using the app...(Urgent) When trying to Request Advance Travel Authorization, it scans the passport number, but it shows an error message when trying to take a photo for the identity verification.

2. Or reactivate 2.42.0 Thank You!the application is very poorly implemented! it is impossible to take a photo, the token200 error constantly pops up, after the first photo, the application can easily close at any time and you have to start everything from the beginning.

3. Shame on the developers!It is not working!( I spend from 2 to 4 hours every night to fill new questionnaires for my family to be ready to choose a time slot by 8 am.

4. ThanksThe U.S. Mexico Border should be closed for a year or until our immigration system is revised to better reflect the interests of the U.S. Immigration should be orderly and based on merit.

5. Tried using the Sea option for port arrival after a cruise and got the following message "Coming Soon.

6. Please, many Cubans and others are failing to complete their I-134A process because of this, in Cuba almost all phones are outdated and contains old Android versions.

7. The "Edit traveler profile" doesn't let me save my information.

9. Ended up having to download another app, MPC CBP (Mobile Passport Control), instead which worked.Apps works fairly well for the volume of usage.

10. It doesn't allow anyone to save it after you entered first and last name.

11. Wondering if that has to do with the error.Every time they UPDATE this APP, something gets messed up.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix CBP One Issues

1. Fix CBP One Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart CBP One: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the CBP One App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CBP One" » Open CBP One » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CBP One » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear CBP One app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CBP One servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CBP One" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check CBP One app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CBP One might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall CBP One. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CBP One then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CBP One not working


2. Fix CBP One Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CBP One be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CBP One not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CBP One may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hello, This is my 16th attempt to get assistance with my account issue. My account, registered with gagik.oganesyan.hay@redacted, has been flagged with a "Fraud Detected" message when I try to log in.

    I did write several requests to cbpone@redacted.

    I assure you that this is my account, and I have not engaged in any suspicious activities. Here are the details of my previous communications:

    We have been waiting for 230 days and have been diligently requesting an appointment every day. Additionally, we do not have multiple applications, we had just one for those 230 days. Additionally sending you confirmation of our identity and screenshots with confirmation of the registration of the travelers. We’ve created the account and registered the travelers in November, 16th 2023

    Additionally we called to the support on June, 21st and they told us to wait and write to you. CBP Inquiry Case Reference: 240618-6584700

    we are am currently in Tijuana and can verify my identity if needed. We are Jehovahs Witnesses and cannot go back home because of persecution. This issue has caused significant inconvenience, and I urgently need access to my account.

  • Hello! My name is Roman Potrimba. My relatives, father Nicolae Potrimba ( Russian transcription in Russian passport Nikolai Potrymba) and brother Andrei Potrimba ( Russian transcription in Russian passport Andrei Potrymba) , received a date to cross the border using the CBP one application. The date was set for June 19, 2024, at 10:00 am, at the crossing in San Ysidro.
    They arrived at the border at the appointed time. Mexican border guards checked their documents and closed them, telling them to wait. They waited for several hours and contacted us. After several hours, they stopped communicating.
    We tried to check if they went further, if they were processed by US border officials and tried to check them in the online detention system. Their data is not there.
    Dear employees, please help us find them, if for some reason you cannot help us in this matter, please forward our letter to the appropriate structure or write us the address where we can contact! Thank you very much!
