My Passport Wireless Customer Insights

1. Please tell me this is an unintentional software bug and please fix promptly. It just says "User does not have permission (403)" after I select that I'm setting up a My Passport Wireless device.

2. The backup function doesn't give you any options for folder naming or filtering to only backup certain file types, it backs up ALL files and folders on the card.

3. Update: After uninstall and clean install of app seemed to have fixed the issue.Works great for me, unlike the most unreliable Lorex Cloud app.

4. Cannot shut down My Cloud without physical access to the device, because to fully shut it down you have to disconnect the ethernet cable.

5. What's the point of having an app with access to all of my photos if I can't easily find the photo I'm looking for?Android app no longer works correctly.

6. Mycloud has no idea what a playlist is and it doesn't allow another player to interact with the remote files.

7. I purchased the WD MyCloud a few years ago to perform automatic backups of the pictures and videos on my family's phones.

8. So you can download what you want to have played onto your remote computer/phone and then use whatever player you want (if you have room in the default download area, because that's unchangeable). This app is a little less than useless to me.

9. The MY CLOUD app ALWAYS CONNECTS AND WORKS GREAT.Slow! Even after caching never gets faster.

10. This is unacceptable as I paid extra money specifically for wireless connectivity with my phone so I can see my pics on a large screen when I don't have a computer with me.

11. Lumps all photos and all videos together making it impossible to find what you are looking for.
