1. Closing the phone app and restarting it seems to reenable the video feed without having to close and reopen the client.Total garbage not worth paying for the upgrade wish I could get a refund.
2. They trick you because the free version actual works better in terms of staying connected but the paid version loses connection frequently.
3. Also, the heat produced by my phone when running this app is significant enough that I wouldn't be comfortable running it for more than a few minutes.1st hour of use on a Huawei Mate9 and Windows 10 workstation with good WiFi is mixed.
4. The app is extremely limited compared to it's iOS counterpart and not worth the pro upgrade.Avoid. £5.49 (non refundable) spent on an app no better than the free version, in terms of controllability.
5. While it mostly does what it says it can do, the video stream is freezing on the computer, while there is no indication of a problem on the phone app.
6. USB connection does not work for Android (stated on website but not on Play Store where this fact would have saved me from paying for the Pro version).
7. Don't waste your money here.I'm using a Google Pixel 3 and running Android version 10 and I have the pro version of EpocCam.
8. Tried it on three different phones and 2 different machines both and Mac and a PC not worth the "upgrade" save yourself time and money.Set up was easy enough, but I had no access to pro features listed on the website: manual focus, and flashlight.
9. I can imagine if USB connection worked for Android that the network connection wouldn't be as much an issue and I would achieve something resembling usable quality.
10. It'll connect just fine and initiate streaming with the back camera over WiFi, but it is extremely laggy and doesn't stream at high quality as advertised.
11. Pro's - Successfully transfers at least one frame of video over my wifi connection to my Zoom application.
