No one can prevent all identity theft or cybercrime. 1 If your plan includes credit reports, scores, and/or credit monitoring features ("Credit Features"), two requirements must be met to receive said features: (i) your identity must be successfully verified with Equifax; and (ii) Equifax must be able to locate your credit file and it must contain sufficient credit history information.

3. If your plan also includes Credit Features from Experian and/or TransUnion, the above verification process must also be successfully completed with Experian and/or TransUnion, as applicable.

4. LifeLock Identity Customer Insights

1. I've never been able to reset my password with their service without calling support, yet they don't seem to have an issue sending me email notifications about credit-checks or promotions/ads.

2. I am constantly having to check notifications to see if I have mail or whatever and finally decide it's just the silly alert going off because I looked at the phone (seriously, it seems that bad after weeks of use).

3. For security notifications that's fine with me (you probably should read each one), but for the credit score updates it is a bit tedious sometimes if I don't keep on top of them.A little bit underwhelming.

4. I can't tell how easy it is to use the app, or my experience for the ads shown, because i can't use it.Once you get passed all the downloads, settings and notifications it is a very safe feeling came over me.

5. But without an interactive setup guide how do I know I have setup your software correctly Feel free to contact me if you wish I suppose this review is automatically nuPersistent issues with sign-in.

6. They always try to upsell you to other features that you probably assumed came with the service to begin with.

7. Tilting my phone to get the time, yeah, you guessed it - loud audio alert.

8. And I really like the fact I can make monthly payments vs a 1 time payment, makes this very affordable with my challenging income.

9. The notifications are excessive (it's like the algorithm doesn't even try to learn your purchase patterns).

10. One small recommendation--there is no way I see to mark as read multiple notifications simultaneously.

11. That's something I will definitely get one day!Great app, makes me feel very secure in a world in which more and more fraud is perpetuated online.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LifeLock Identity Issues

1. Fix LifeLock Identity Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart LifeLock Identity: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the LifeLock Identity App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LifeLock Identity" » Open LifeLock Identity by Norton » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LifeLock Identity » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear LifeLock Identity by Norton app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LifeLock Identity servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LifeLock Identity by Norton" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check LifeLock Identity app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LifeLock Identity might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall LifeLock Identity. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LifeLock Identity then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LifeLock Identity not working


2. Fix LifeLock Identity Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LifeLock Identity be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LifeLock Identity not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LifeLock Identity may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
