Swapcard Customer Insights

1. Unfortunately, it does not support landscape mode.(that would be great since the floor plan was in landscape) In portrait mode the header and mainly footer take up 2/3 of the screen When ever I try to move the plan, it refreshes and starts over toomed out Then I discovered that I could export a pdf.

2. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S9+ & don't have issues with other appI was very disappointed in this app's inability to play videos on Android during the International Bluegrass Music Association virtual event.

3. I'm looking forward to trying out their native live streaming feature at our next hybrid event!The app is straight forward and it's easy to use as well.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Swapcard Issues

1. Fix Swapcard Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Swapcard: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Swapcard App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Swapcard" » Open Swapcard - Smart Event App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Swapcard » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Swapcard - Smart Event App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Swapcard servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Swapcard - Smart Event App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Swapcard app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Swapcard might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Swapcard. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Swapcard then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Swapcard not working


2. Fix Swapcard Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Swapcard be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Swapcard not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Swapcard may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
