It does run ads A LOT.. and for each assignment contains at least 3 steps, and up to 10 steps to complete one task.. a little time consuming, at times, especially if you're not right on top of tapping the next button.. I give it 4 stars.. again, their is no such thing as perfect, so I can't give it 5.I would give it another half star, if there were an option for itSometimes, especially during battery charging efficiency improvement, the app will dim the display so much, that I can barely read what the app is telling me it's doing.

2. I don't see this app lasting long with me, once again! Too bad you feel like yoi need to monopolize my time to accomplish things that others do in so much less time!I've tried many different apps that claim to boost, clean, optimize & protect (anti-virus) my phone.

3. But the fundamental aim of the package works great.Two major complaints to an otherwise excellent app: 1) Excessive number of time devoring ads that sabotage the purpose of getting the app.

4. Because all they really care about is the time it took to get everything cleaned in the end." Not the ads" (Think about the consumers time as being valuable and I will go a long way).This app appears very thorough, however there are far too many steps and consumes Waaaay too much time.

5. On an unrelated matter, it would be nice to have the option to choose between the imperial and metric temperature scales.The technical upgrades work great, I am 78 years old and I retired as an it analyst of more than 50 years and I appreciate the design and development of the process.

6. It requires my attention thru multiple steps to boost and clean, all the whole throwing at least 100 adds per total cycle.

7. I especially like the real time protection which comes in handy when I download game apps.

8. It does seem to do its job, but then tried to catch my attention thru the day and night to repeat clean scan cycle.

9. But this is first time I found one app that does it all & without constantly bugging me to run it.

1. Fix Smart Security Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Smart Security: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Smart Security App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Smart Security" » Open Smart Security » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Smart Security » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Smart Security app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Smart Security servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Smart Security" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Smart Security app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Smart Security might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Smart Security. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Smart Security then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Smart Security not working

2. Fix Smart Security Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Smart Security be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Smart Security not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Smart Security may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
