LOLI think this is so useful if you lose your physical remote but the problem is that you have to keep connecting to you TV because it will disconnect and sometimes it will stop connecting but otherwise this app is amazingUnderwhelmed!, the remote does function, but with ads and 30 sec video ads popping up all the time,, its pretty much pointless.

2. Are you absolutely kidding me? You've locked features behind a paywall? LG SMART TVs already use outdated systems to make readily available apps installable, casting has been available since 2013 at the very least, and instead of making it easily available for some apps you've locked it behind your own remote with a paywall.

3. A monthly subscription for a remote controller? or a one off payment equivalent to what you would pay for some huge game franchises???? I know developers have to make money, but this seems way overpriced.

4. Unlike my Roku TV and app, you can NOT turn the power on with this remote as it can not connect to a TV that is off.

5. This is deceitful and I'm reporting this appContinously disconnects, ads pop up while you're trying to use the remote to find a show.

6. You only have so many button presses before the ads takeover, so you end up having to watch a video ad to complete the function.

1. Fix LG Remote Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart LG Remote: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the LG Remote App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LG Remote" » Open LG Remote for TV: Smart ThinQ » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LG Remote » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear LG Remote for TV: Smart ThinQ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LG Remote servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LG Remote for TV: Smart ThinQ" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check LG Remote app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LG Remote might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall LG Remote. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LG Remote then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LG Remote not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LG Remote be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LG Remote not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LG Remote may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
