About Pass Track

1. Now Currency Declaration system of Pakistan Customs has also been integrated with Pass Track application for ease of declaration and convenient global access for travelers.

2. It is mandatory for out-bound passengers for all countries except Afghanistan, carrying Foreign Currency exceeding US$ 5,000 or equivalent, or any prohibited or restricted item to file a declaration as notified vide S. R. O. 1864(I)/2022 dated 10. 10. 2022.

3. Likewise, in-bound passengers carrying Foreign Currency exceeding US$10,000 or equivalent, or any prohibited or restricted item, shall also file currency declaration.

4. Travelers can access the Currency Declaration through Pass Track application.

5. Initially Pass Track application aimed to track the travelers coming to Islamic Republic of Pakistan against vaccination and symptoms related to covid 19.

6. This application is now only for Currency Declaration for any user intend travelling to/ from Pakistan.

7. After the fruitful outcome of this application and decrease in Covid 19 cases to minimal, The feature of tracking against vaccination and symptoms related to covid 19 has been removed from the application.

8. The persons travelling to Afghanistan shall file a declaration of currency in their possession.

9. The application has been developed under the banner of Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication, Islamabad, Pakistan.

10. A Currency Declaration Form (CDF) is accordingly available on WeBOC website ( ).

11. National Information Technology Board is the Technology Partner for the Pass Track App.

Pass Track Customer Insights

1. Hope it helps.It is a little frustrating to re enter the data multiple times It would have been very useful if each step data is saved Uploading option was not working for me but when I took the picture it was fine UI is clean, with few improvements it can be a good app.

2. At first it showed the travel info, when I got to the airport, the info was gone! I tried literally a hundred times, I've memorized my passport number at this point, it continuously said server error.

3. I appreciate the effort and idea.once submitted the data then there is no option to edit or delete,i entered my flight departure date wrong and then it was not giving me option to correct itAs so many others, this is a good initiative.

4. For those who cannot get this application to work, please enter your details and upload the files on the pass track website, rather than wasting your time on this application.

5. Glitches out at most steps and doesn't tell you the issue and doesn't let you move forward.It doesn't allow PDFs or multiple JPEG files to be uploaded.

6. Each time you travel, you have to enter the same basic information like the CNIC and the Passport details etc.

7. Every time I tried to enter my information the app timed out.

8. So, if you find that the server is down and you want to try again later you will have to refill the entire form.

9. The server app could not talk to the server on a number of occasions.One of the worst apps I have ever used.

10. My husband's travel information saved, mine did not.

11. The picture of my passport is not being uploaded.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Pass Track Issues

1. Fix Pass Track Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Pass Track: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Pass Track App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Pass Track" » Open Pass Track » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Pass Track » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Pass Track app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pass Track servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pass Track" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Pass Track app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pass Track might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Pass Track. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Pass Track then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Pass Track not working


2. Fix Pass Track Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Pass Track be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Pass Track not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Pass Track may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I am visiting pakistan soon. I downloaded Pass Track App and try to register my travel. This App does not work after trying for several days and at multiple times. It gives me an error messge or different kinds and asks me to try later. But every time I tried it gives the same message. I wonder whats wrong. This is a serious issue and needs an immediate resolution.
