And also please make it harder for restaurant personal to click on the qr code and see all your personal info, event the app tells me that, but it often occurs that they just begin to click though on your phone and it midly infuriates me, the Infos right there!It does the job I guess (in Germany) but for as long as there are no english translations for all information shown in the app, the rating won't be any higher.

2. I wish it would work if its advertised to work.It's good and all but PLEASE stop showing your new features after each update, and bit proving a fast 'skip' button for it, sometimes you need to show your pass unexpectedly and need to click through all your app updates to get the code.

3. Edit: Support for english was added.In itself not a bad app and it does what its supposed to BUT if you've got an(y) Samsung Phone DO NOT UPDATE THE APP for whatever reason it breaks the app entirely.

4. That was a major inconvenience when I went to show a cert for the first time in months to discover the app dropped data in the phone transfer.

5. App doesn't allow screenshots to save the QR code just in case as well.Almost every time you open the app, you do it with the intent of showing it as quickly as possible.

6. Finding instructions for that was a total PITA - especially because doing it from my phone (Google Pixel 3a with latest Android) didn't work at all - had to use the google website from my PC.

7. You can add 50 certs if you like just l added my cert on 3 other phones, there is absolutely no need to dump public cert data.

8. Almost every time you open the app, you need to click through 3 dialogs about updates.

9. I have been living in Germany for over 10 years, and never had a problem installing any other app from the play store.

10. But now it's not possible anymore.Where one really only can scan the code, one needs to actually tap twice to start scanning.Very dark image without marks or rulers.

11. Why is there a Geographic restriction ? Needless added complexity, definitely a German product !The app works but has one major flaw.

1. Fix CovPass Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart CovPass: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the CovPass App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CovPass" » Open CovPass » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CovPass » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear CovPass app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CovPass servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CovPass" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check CovPass app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CovPass might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall CovPass. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CovPass then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CovPass not working

2. Fix CovPass Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CovPass be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CovPass not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CovPass may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
