1. Also when picking items in the flyer it knocks you back to the top page every timeWon't stay logged in and only allows you to load offers and not shop.

2. Wasted an hour! Never againThe app keeps logging itself out, and doesn't have the option to store email address and password, which makes using the bar code at the checkout a pain when everyone is waiting for me.

3. "Turn on notifications? You'll be glad you did!" Just please stop and let me have a simple place for my more rewards card without all this junkSince the More Rwards merging of different programs happened I am no longer able to log into the app.

4. When I got to memeber card or load offers I get a quick flash of the login screen then a "unexpected error" code.

5. Keeps telling me to log in to shop and then brings me to my personal data which clearly means I'm logged in OR Save On has some serious data privacy breaches.

6. When you eventually do get your shopping selected, every time I selected a time slot, a message popped up saying something about changing to a different time slot.

7. I chose every availed time slot within 2 days and wasn't able to pick any, despite the app saying they were all avaible.

8. Have uninstalled/reinstalled, cleared cache, cleared data, forced stop and tried everything known to man but none seem to fix the problem.

9. You select multiple items to be told that they're out of stock but when you go into the store, low and behold, the item they say is out of stock is clearly on display.

10. I've missed on on an excessive amount of points because of this I have tried contacting them but again absolutely useless.Doesn't open.

11. Please fix this as frequently took advantage of the different offers and am now missing out because the app no longer works.Usually great but it stopped working and now I have to use the website.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Save-On-Foods Issues

1. Fix Save-On-Foods Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Save-On-Foods: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Save-On-Foods App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Save-On-Foods" » Open Save-On-Foods » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Save-On-Foods » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Save-On-Foods app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Save-On-Foods servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Save-On-Foods" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Save-On-Foods app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Save-On-Foods might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Save-On-Foods. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Save-On-Foods then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Save-On-Foods not working


2. Fix Save-On-Foods Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Save-On-Foods be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Save-On-Foods not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Save-On-Foods may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
