iMPlayer Customer Insights

1. if I stop watching a series in the middle of the show cause I have to go for some reason when i go back to watch it at a latter time and continue from where I left of it doesn't load and I have to move on to another episode.Another thing on the old app you could just tap new episode and this is not so on this app...cannot give a higher rating on this yet...been trying to get developers to help me access my account as it has an email issue.

2. Developers use to update it at regular interval and keeps adding new and much required features.I have a premium acct of this version on my phone and t.v. and they both work well.

3. I agree with another reviewer - casting would be a great option.I've been around the world of IPTV apps and this one is excellent.

5. It worked fine yesterday, but I had to uninstall it cause it went buggy, after the reinstall of the free version, I get nothing now.

6. One thing missing in the mobile version is it does not detect subtitles on live tv.

7. Was it just a free trial? Give me a fix and I'll purchase the app and give a 5 star rating.Really good for a free app, only thing I can't do is change the EPG source for my playlist.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iMPlayer Issues

1. Fix iMPlayer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iMPlayer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iMPlayer App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iMPlayer" » Open iMPlayer Mobile IPTV Player » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iMPlayer » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iMPlayer Mobile IPTV Player app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iMPlayer servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iMPlayer Mobile IPTV Player" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iMPlayer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iMPlayer might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iMPlayer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iMPlayer then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iMPlayer not working


2. Fix iMPlayer Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iMPlayer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iMPlayer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iMPlayer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
