1. HikCentral Mobile software is installed on the Android 4. 4 or higher version mobile platform.

2. It gets access to the HikCentral,Blazer Pro via Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G and 4G network, and fulfills the functions of the devices connected to the HikCentral, Blazer Pro; such as live view, remote playback, PTZ control, and video clipping and so on.

1. Google won't let hik install in Google play.Having uninstalled apps to free up space for this one all I can say is that I want my time and those apps back.

2. Saved a copy for hik connect old app ( the best app for their products )This app does not work.

3. After agreeing to the terms and conditions this page appears and I have to write in the 'server' field.

4. Unless you want buggy, laggy, impossible to configure junk.

5. wont connect and DVR needs to be restarted sometimes.Don't buy anything that says HIK on it.

6. Try updating your apps!!!used it for 3 min and uninstalled it.

8. Can't even register or log in....App does not work.

9. doesn't save credentials when the option is ticked.

10. Also you must download updated app from hikvision.

11. You need hikcentral in order to use this app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix HikCentral Issues

1. Fix HikCentral Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart HikCentral: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the HikCentral App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HikCentral" » Open HikCentral Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HikCentral » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear HikCentral Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HikCentral servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HikCentral Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check HikCentral app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HikCentral might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall HikCentral. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HikCentral then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HikCentral not working


2. Fix HikCentral Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HikCentral be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HikCentral not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HikCentral may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
