Nerva Customer Insights

1. Will it be a helpful tool to manage a condition? For me, yes, it's helped more than anything (including restrictive diets, rxs, alt therapy, etc).The hypno sessions, exercises and readings can feel repetitive, but the repetition is important bec it is wiring the concepts into your head.

2. 12/2020 A few days into the program and I can appreciate that the sessions are having a positive impact.

3. Tried to restart the program to fix this issue and now I'm stuck on day 1 (you can't even skip/proceed unless real-life days pass).

4. I did find improvement with symptoms from diaphragmatic breathing which they recommend about halfway through the program but you don't need a $70 app for that.

5. It helps to approach each day with a "beginner's mind".I am absolutely delighted by the impact of this program on my gut health.

6. Can this be true? I don't want to soend time or money on an app that doesn't work.Loved the sessions and felt they really helped me.

7. Not only are my IBS symptoms shockingly improved, but I am able to use the relaxation tools I've learned to help in other situations...like my fear of flying on planes, worrying about my kids, etc.

8. I understand that it helps the mind to absorb information to have it repeated, but in this case it feels more like being stuck in a cycle at the beginning of a process.

9. Yes, the program is very repetitive, and that's the point! Listening to and practicing the same techniques over and over is how we integrate them into our minds and our bodies.

10. I've read some of the reviews that say that you can just watch free videos on YouTube but what I like is that this program is intentional, sequential and GI focused.

11. Super frustrating and makes me want to cancel on day 3 of the program (or day 4 according to Nerva).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Nerva Issues

1. Fix Nerva Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Nerva: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Nerva App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Nerva" » Open Nerva: IBS & Gut Hypnotherapy » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Nerva » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Nerva: IBS & Gut Hypnotherapy app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Nerva servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Nerva: IBS & Gut Hypnotherapy" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Nerva app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Nerva might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Nerva. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Nerva then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Nerva not working


2. Fix Nerva Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Nerva be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Nerva not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Nerva may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I discovered a charge from you for an app Nerva in 2021, never downloaded it, do not have IBS. I worry about a re-subcription charge as it is October. I want to know if I have an account, how to cancel, and what happened in the first place.

  • Hello, I deleted and deactivated my account after the free trial as I was not interested in buying a subscription, it has taken out 69.30 of my bank account after I have deleted and deactivated, I no I deactivated because when I downloaded it after U noticed the money it took, it had me start from the start as if I was making a new account, so I definitely deactivated it. I am hoping to get refunded and my account cancelled asap please

  • I registered yesterday, 8-29-2022. I received an email for purchasing for $29.99. I cannot get passed day one(1). Please help. I am so excited to use this program and I am very frustrated. I did the reading for day 1 and set my timer and that is all it will let me do. I received confirmation of payment. My receipt number is #2073-0663. Please HELP. Thank you.

  • Hi there I have just been charged $99.99 for an app that I can’t use. It won’t let me get off the Screen that says you’ve taken the first step!
    I have downloaded it about 5 times. I would please like a refund . I can’t afford this and as I’m unable to use it thinks it’s not great. I was able to cancel today my subscription this arvo through google not the app . Please please I can’t afford this and have deleted the unissued app thanks Sarah

  • I have a request. I registered for free and was offered, by email, a better subscription offer, cause the price, I must admit was a little high(beacause I also have PCS,and see a physical therapist a lot). It was about a month ago and then I forgot about it, due to bad memory and PCS. My IBS really has effect from the Nerva program. I am currently subscribed but haven paid so how do I go about starting over and getting a good affordable deal so I am able to continue my subscription?

  • I tried to buy nerva 3 months membership twice but instead of getting it, my money got deducted both the times from my account and didn't even get the membership even once. So it's requested to revert back the money as soon as possible.

    We purchased the Nerva IBS app sometime ago, but once it was loaded onto my sons phone he was unable to load any other apps on his phone. He therefore uninstalled Nerva. We would like to re-purchase the Nerva program/app, But are concerned about a repeat of the same problem. Do you have suggestions or a solution?
