FibriCheck Customer Insights

1. Regrettably, I won't be renewing my subscription to FibriCheck because a month ago I purchased a one lead Kardia ECG which is far less frustrating to use.This is a very useful app that everyone should really use! Arrhythmia can be a very silent killer if mot detected and thos app does so very efficiently, as long as you use it straight off the cuff without trying to sync it with other third party devices such as fitbits etc! Just start the app and place your index finger on the camera, and on one minute, you will get a reading.

2. I can't cancel the subscription without it showing up in the appI don't find it easy to get my finger in the right position for good quality readings, despite trying different fingers, in different positions, different pressures, etc.

3. EDIT I would find it very helpful if we could search through results by date instead of having to scroll endlessly .If it works as it appears to do then for the peace of mind it is worth every penny (and it ain't that expensive).

4. Yes, free to install, not free to use, subscription model and your heart might as well stop by the time you fill in all the details.

5. What I find very frustrating with the app is that it spends 60 seconds making a recording, and then before giving a readout expects you to enter any symptoms and what you were doing prior to making the recording.

6. The only thing I find annoying is having a pin code to access it , not helpful when I want to take a quick reading.

7. Biggest problem is that it has very unstable Bluetooth when trying to use it with a Fitbit Ionic: constantly get an error message when trying to take a reading that Bluetooth is in error.

9. THEY WON'T CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION! 🤬 The actual app is great, but I need to cancel.

10. TERRIBLE SERVICE!This is definitely the best heart app I have found so far and at about 20p a day it's worth going for the premium subscription plan.

11. Strange that if I try to upgrade, it goes directly through to the payment screen, no problem 🤔I've now resorted to deleting my payment method from Google play hoping that they now respond.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix FibriCheck Issues

1. Fix FibriCheck Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart FibriCheck: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the FibriCheck App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FibriCheck" » Open FibriCheck » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FibriCheck » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear FibriCheck app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FibriCheck servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FibriCheck" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check FibriCheck app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FibriCheck might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall FibriCheck. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FibriCheck then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FibriCheck not working


2. Fix FibriCheck Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FibriCheck be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FibriCheck not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FibriCheck may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
