1. If the interface was customizable, then an individual could select the highest frequency items for input, and lower frequency items would be available one click away from the main menu.Well thought out app that tracks symptoms, food, mood, meds, activity, water consumption, and bowel habits.
2. I also can't seem to add a quick link in different categories, I try but it doesn't save it ever.Decent interface for entering records, but doesn't present the recorded data in any meaningful or easily accessible way (basically the whole point of tracking in the first place).
3. I'm very grateful that there's an app that will allow me to track my food and look for a relationships between what I eat, the medications I take, and the symptoms that occur episodically.
4. I don't always find the food ingredients I'm looking for, but since it's not calorie/nutrient based tracking, it's not a big deal to just manually enter them.
5. The rest of it works pretty well so, despite the food tracker being what I really wanted, I mostly just record symptoms which, in itself, is still helpful.I love the concept of this app.
6. Second would be if I could download my data in a cohesive report to share with my treatment team.I've only been using it for a few days, but so far, Cara is very easy to use and I like that it has lots of customization options.
7. All of the symptoms are aggregated into single per-day score and you are presented with a "food on best and worst 3 days".
8. For instance, if you're looking to determine a baseline of gut pain or motility, etc so that you can track disease progression, there is no way to view the data holistically.
9. It tracks your food, your pains, headaches, mental health, sleep patterns, bowel movements, than this is the app for you.
10. I've tried many other diet apps and food diaries, this surpasses them all.
11. Keeps track of: meals, ingredients, bowel movements, sleep, medications, stomach pain, and more.
