1. Works great with Rouvy and Bkool! If you have an android don't waste your time....and yes, I have contacted the support desk MANY times.I did the 14-day trial &, while I really liked the ability to run/cycle with the real-life videos, the apps glitchiness has made me decide to not continue with the service.
2. Being able to cast to a large screen really makes the interactive experience so much betterUsing Android version 9 and kickr core, the app connects fine, cadence reads fine, but the resistance does not change with grade.
3. Once I got a video loaded, mid-ride it would slow down, speed up & freeze randomly, even when downloaded. It is an interesting VR experience and the rides I did in Italy are realistic.
4. The leaderboards offer a little extra motivation; however, some of the times on the leaderboards are unrealistic unless you are superman, lol.Good, but cumbersome to get your exercise equipment to connect.
5. So many times I'd open the app & it wouldn't fully load or I'd tap on a video & it would get stuck on loading screen...I'd have to force stop & try again...many times, multiple times before it finally opened.
6. I love how I can do video workouts that speed up or slow down depending on my effort and compete against others.
7. Support is very fast and good. The app has worked well for me about 90% of the time (a couple of crashes and sync issues).
8. Casting my phone works ok but not great and the connection via the local ip on your pc within the app is worse.
9. Even with downloaded videos to improve performance, I don't dare stop because it will freeze and crash at the drop of a hat.
10. If I just want scenery I can do discovery mode which has the video go at the speed of the person who recorded it.
11. You need a web browser that has chromecast capabilities such as Google Chrome or the newest version of Microsoft edge.
