1. It used to be good - I began using it years ago with the plug-in sensor adapter, but now other free programs such as EliteHRV or HRV4Training give much more information, and aren't as flakey as Ithlete in connecting to different heart rate monitors.Constant errors maker the monitor unusable.
2. No subscription renewal reminders so money is just automatically taken - I don't know any other app that does that! There are much better free alternatives available. This app has a hard time connecting to a Cardiosport sensor.
3. No training recommendations available as claimedI still have not been able to connect the device with my Bluetooth! I tried it on my boyfriends phone too, and it still won't connect.
4. Individual readings on a single day may not always be reliable (I've had a green 'good to go' after two consecutive hard days) but the trend over a week or month is useful - especially for those of us still competing in our 50s.After finishing free test for 1 month.
5. I've restarted Bluetooth and my phone several times and replaced the battery and still it won't connect.
6. Each time you try take a reading it comes up with error after error, making the process take several frustrating minutes.
7. I get good consistent data readings once it connects.Very disappointed.
8. I can't see how this is a subscription app, as it cannot even fulfil its most basic function of recording a HRV reading.
9. Edit: After hearing back from the developers, you can still take measurements, but you are just then basically sitting with useless data if you don't know how to analyze it.
10. I think with all the most recent compitition out there, ithlete needs to pick it up so it's not left behind with its competitors.
11. Sometimes requiring a restart of bluetooth on the phone, or the phone itself.
