1. VERY frustrating.Was functional when I first started using the app......Now doesn't load VIN numbers stock #s....shows nothing can't see anything can't see window stickers NOTHING......FIX THIS......I closed more deals when it WORKED!!!!....I can't even go on global connect to see window stickers on the website....How am I going to show customers info on the car if it can't be pulled?.... I'm a very resourceful employee, but like cmon this is ridiculousPlenty of info, but painfully slow to navigate and use.

2. Some features may be unavailable." But I have internet and have tried it on both wifi and mobile data to no avail...Every time I try to log into the app, it says my session has expired and wants me to log back in.

3. Almost useless if you're trying to get information on the fly.Painfully Slow, by the time this app comes up and selecting the vehicle, customer has already walked away.

4. Worked great when first used, but you need to log out before you get locked out!Was a great app and useful... now it will not work... can't even sign in.

5. I guess instead of making profits, people high up prefer ass-kissing.The updated app works great.

6. Don't install, I've installed it twice to get pass the "your session has expired" and still doesn't work.

7. There's so much potential with this app, please fix it.Does not have the right specs, dimensions, or does not load package information.

8. It says "Your internet connection has been lost.

9. My Galaxy J7 has not experienced any issues with updated version.

10. Really cool app.Very glichy and often closes itself saying app not responding.

11. Also l've looked the newer rev without any success.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GM Issues

1. Fix GM Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GM: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GM App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GM" » Open GM - Dealer SalesAssistant » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GM » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GM - Dealer SalesAssistant app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GM servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GM - Dealer SalesAssistant" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GM app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GM might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GM. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GM then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GM not working


2. Fix GM Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GM be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GM not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GM may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
