1. Before that I liked the app a lot, it is very helpful if it works, and I love the notifications when something is wrong, please fix app!! UPDATE:6/8/23 After Uninstall and reinstall as suggested, everything seems to be working great now! Thanks for the really fast reply!Slow to load.

2. They keep making changes and update and all it does is makes thing worse! Location service does not work.

3. Why did GM do this to its customers? Should have made it an option, not everyone likes that daunting black screen! No thank you! Does not always list location, many times does not keep a list of trips.

4. I really wish you software people would try out an update before you push it down to everybody! I didn't have problems with previous version, 6.5.The app hadn't worked since when I opened it on 5/9/23.

7. I've lowered my review to a single star because is this recurring issue.Newer "Map" feature only works intermittently at best.

9. Have tried for over half an hour to get the map to show Silver Springs Florida or the vehicle current location.

10. Both the Android and ios versions need to be updated to re enable this function.App is very slow and unresponsive.

11. Absolutely BS!! Location service is useless!!!When it works, it works great.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myChevrolet Issues

1. Fix myChevrolet Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myChevrolet: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myChevrolet App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myChevrolet" » Open myChevrolet » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myChevrolet » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myChevrolet app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myChevrolet servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myChevrolet" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myChevrolet app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myChevrolet might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myChevrolet. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myChevrolet then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myChevrolet not working


2. Fix myChevrolet Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myChevrolet be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myChevrolet not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myChevrolet may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I would like you to please delete my account on the MyChevrolet app due to privacy issues in accordance with the "relevant data protection law" (GDPR or CCPA), which carries a potential penalty for non-compliance (A $7,500 fine under CCPA and a 4% of annual turnover under GDPR). The way GM has created a culture of pressuring customers into signing away their privacy by grading their sales reps based on the number of users they create is quite low and very sneaky. The sales reps themselves do not fully understand the implications of this app and are only trying to work as hard as they can. This app and its associated functions are an invasion of personal privacy. Please delete my account and all data associated with said account. I have already placed a request for the deletion of my current data ( Request ID: TN110863GJHCTPNH) and would like to STOP all further collection of data.

I would like to have my account delate since there is nothing interesting for me. I would never use the app and account. It would make me fell safer knowing that there is not account that could be use in unlawful ways. thankyou
