1. It would be great if we could add specific notification sounds instead of it using the standard phone sound, it will allow users to have a specific sound for the door going up, one for the door going down and one for other notifications.

2. Today, it actually failed in a way that was a security risk, by opening the door and recording the event history as failing to close the door based on a rule to close it if left open for an hour, when the door had already been closed manually an hour before.

3. As of now, I say STAY AWAY! **UPDATE: ** I finally got the door control module to connect to my WiFi router using the IP address method and all seems to be good, so far.

4. One thing that needs to be corrected (as far as I noticed anyway) is the battery holder in the door position sensor - its very weak.

5. I have been running into this issue where the buttons to press and hold for the open/close a garage door action do not respond after one door is opened/closed.

6. The commands are a little slow to respond through my phone, but I don't mind as long as it tells me that I had left my garage door open accidentally and that I can close it with my phone.

7. This app is very buggy, it does not update the status, but updates the status incorrectly at random times, even in the middle of night several hours after garage door is closed.

8. I got it to connect to my network "once" and then when I went to connect the door sensor to the main connect, it wouldn't see the door sensor.

9. Shared the app with my children so they could open and close the door using their phones, now the app doesn't even recognize my login and is constantly telling me it's unavailable.

10. I would also appreciate a feature that allows the control of notifications per door instead for the whole app.Ok app, but ugly and missing light control.

11. It still has trouble with knowing the position of the door when partially opened.I like it when it works, even though it's a bit slow in responding.

1. Fix Aladdin Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Aladdin Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Aladdin Connect App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Aladdin Connect" » Open Aladdin Connect » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Aladdin Connect » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Aladdin Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Aladdin Connect servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Aladdin Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Aladdin Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Aladdin Connect might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Aladdin Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Aladdin Connect then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Aladdin Connect not working

2. Fix Aladdin Connect Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Aladdin Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Aladdin Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Aladdin Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
