1. I'd give a lot more stars if I could use it on my pool!We were so excited this app finally got an update.....and at first it seemed great.

2. I've moved on to using nodejs-poolController but might come back.Update June 6th, 2023: Got an app update today and boy was it an update! 5 or so years in the making and it looks to have fixed the major issues.

3. The recent updates improved Android version significantly and it now has pretty much everything you need.Got the update a few days ago.

4. But my pool temp is not working now, so I don't know what happened.Adding one star for the new update.

5. Seems really good...thank you! A few nits: I'm not seeing the temperature setting unless the heater is on on the Pool screen.

6. Now I see only one (Not even the main pump), so I cannot change pump speeds.Huge improvement after recent updates.

7. How about the ability hold down the button to repeat adjustments to pump speed? Or even better, how about allowing to type in a pump speed instead of having to hold down the arrows to adjust?NOT a fan of this new whatever you want to call it.

8. BUT, now it seems I log into someone else's pool every time!! I have had to stop using the app to avoid the extreme frustration of not seeing MY pool on it! I don't see a 'fix' for it either.

9. Hope it's a sign of things to come.Much better now that we can control the same pool features as on the iPhone, but could use a little polish.

10. If anyone is trying to figure out the issue with the clorinator option...you need to re-enable from the control panel menu...and it actually showed up now!! So make sure you recheck your automation panel menu.

11. Also, when selecting Pump, used to be able to select various features under my main pump to set different pump speeds.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ScreenLogic Connect Issues

1. Fix ScreenLogic Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ScreenLogic Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ScreenLogic Connect App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ScreenLogic Connect" » Open ScreenLogic Connect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ScreenLogic Connect » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ScreenLogic Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ScreenLogic Connect servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ScreenLogic Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ScreenLogic Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ScreenLogic Connect might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ScreenLogic Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ScreenLogic Connect then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ScreenLogic Connect not working


2. Fix ScreenLogic Connect Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ScreenLogic Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ScreenLogic Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ScreenLogic Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Using the ScreenLogic connect app, my phone and or iPad used work just fine, now it’s hit or miss whether I can turn the spa on or off once it’s started with it. Is there a solution?

  • Is your ScreenLogic relay server system down ? I can’t reach ( via remote) my pool and have Trouble shot /reset protocol adapter etc and no luck . I can’t even get your demo system to load - so I think problem must be on your end . Advise

  • I purchased a $90,000 pool and my wife has an Apple phone and I have the newest pixel 5 Google phone and I'm not able to run my pool like my wife can in fact I can't even download the app to run anything please call me on my cell phone 716-553-8801 or email the instructions on how to download the proper app for the pixel 5 Google phone to run my pool my in-ground $90,000 pool my wife's number is 716-553-8802 she is a little more tech savvy than me either way would like to response as soon as possible
