1. I will avoid using Yale in the feature because of the app, the locker itself is awesome.So I cannot connect the lock to it's own hub.

3. I was hoping to use this app to connect to my new Gateman.The CONNECT Wifi bridge setup does NOT work on Android 11, it only works on IOS.

4. Yale seems to make great locks but missed the target badly on network connected locks, support, etc.

5. It keeps requesting that I check my internet connection and try again even though my Wi-Fi and data are both at full bars.

6. More than that: interface is slow, notifications don't have signifitative name (you have to open one by one), the app don't use biometric to authenticate, notifications time don't respect timezone, it's a mess.

7. The whole thing has been a nightmare.Rediculous hoops to jump through before you can use the app, sign up, read newsletter, confirm account.

8. It never receive a significant update or new features: multi user accounts, battery level indicator, Google home integration, nothing.

9. I spent hours trying to setup the CONNECT on Android without success.

10. Then they tell you need to contact customer service to get the confirmation and wait on hold 45 minutes for them to tell you call back later.

1. Fix Yale Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Yale Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Yale Connect App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Yale Connect" » Open Yale Connect » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Yale Connect » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Yale Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Yale Connect servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Yale Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Yale Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Yale Connect might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Yale Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Yale Connect then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Yale Connect not working

2. Fix Yale Connect Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Yale Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Yale Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Yale Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
