1. It's a good concept, but in my mind it's not ready for prime time with Security Central.If it actually opens, it's insanely slow operating and for the most part, it just doesn't work well at all.
2. At this moment, the app won't actually let me log in, which is super inconvenient considering I need to use my panel remotely! This app sucks and hasn't changed in over a year.Terrible system! Would not recommend to anyone.
3. Doesn't offer any real ability to configure the system either, which means the terrible Honeywell keypads are still needed.
4. No luck, will be switching to a new alarm system!App often has trouble sending commands to my system or connecting to the panel.
5. Also the notification timestamp seems to be server side and not client side which for a security system is problematic.
6. Then I get an error message saying it was not able to connect, but armed the system.
7. The system shows unarmed when in fact it was armed or vice versa.
8. When disarming I find sometimes it doesn't show disarmed, but if I close and reopen the app it does.Very frustrating that the notifications are hit or miss.
9. One time it was able to be fixed by deleting my entire account and then opening it back up through the security company.
10. I especially liked the geofence exiting feature which would remind me if I had forgotten to set the alarm and left the home.
11. Very slow to connect and have to try to connect multiple times to the arm the alarm.
I purchased an alarm system from Bill Brock with Paragon Security last year. My address is 208 Aspenwood Lane, Nashville, Tn. 37221. I have been unable to locate him since January of this year when my window bugs quit working. I have been on bypass since January and finally gave up and have hired another company to install a new alarm system today. Much to my surprise NO ONE can figure out how to disable this monitoring service for me. The number I’m given is Bill’s and the voicemail is full and he is not returning calls. I reached out to his family and crickets. So I have been searching for an hour and had to register to even get your address….there is nothing in my TC2.0 app to allow me to disable or cancel the subscription. It is not listed on my Apple ID subscriptions….yet here we are. I don’t even have my account number – he has it. So…..please help me and cancel this subscription. I don’t need two monitoring services. What I need is a responsive alarm company who can actually service the equipment I purchased. Thank you so much.
