1. Luckily you can import routes from apps like Komoot or (with a few extra steps) Strava, otherwise the navigation functionality on bosch ebikes would be pretty much worthless. The app is great once I've loaded routes but I find the bluetooth connection doesn't work.
2. Constant notifications you can't dismiss, mostly empty and just full of ads for other Bosch products, and the paid subscription lock functionality is not only a slap in the face after paying thousands for a bike, but it doesn't even work like you want it to anyway.
3. GPS new route calculation can still be lacking, if you miss a turn, new calculated path can be very rough and not at all fast (if you check the actual map, you can spot faster routes, then what's calculated)The energy usage of this app is crazy high (I get warnings from my phone every time I use it).
4. The paid "bike lock function" is just lame given the fact that the newer app (Flow) which only works with the kiox 300 and up (and only smart system) has this function for free.
5. I think this may be because I have a Speed Pedelec, which are restricted from using a lot of dedicated bike infrastructure in Europe, however no such regulation exists where I live so having the app enforce these rules where they don't actually exist is a pretty big problem.
6. All my rides end up being classified as multiple trips because if I stop anywhere along the way for more than a couple minutes it considers that a new "trip." Route planning is downright terrible, at least in the USA.
7. The assist customization allowed me to boost Eco mode from a stop until I got to around 10 mph, then drop back down to regular levels. For collecting ride metrics this app is decent.
8. I constantly have to fight with it, putting down multiple waypoints to get routes to go along quiet streets or dedicated cycle paths, and it seems allergic to parks.
9. Far better than viewing on a bike computer, and is sync'd to the Site.Latest update allows auto upload to Strava.
10. Where's the Google health or Garmin sync? If you don't want it constantly looking for the computer, then you have to tell it to stop, then remember to start it back up before riding.
11. Main problem (among other bugs) re-calculating route in case of deviation from original route. It really is a frustrating app.
