1. What's the point of this app if I have to call EVERY TIME?It stopped working, well fingerprint log in has never worked, you turn it on but it still makes you type your password at each login, but now it doesn't work at all, says "please give us a call" when you log in, everytime...It's showing my account is frozen and there is no way to unfreeze it.
2. Please do not reply to this email.. This app sucks!! Seems very suspect that the developer email and contact info etc says Equifax but you can’t log in with your “Equifax login info”? You have to signup and register with Lock & Alert 1st? Make it make sense to me.
3. Of the three credit bureaus Equifax is the biggest pain to deal with.Keep getting error code 112 and support is pretty much useless as they keep telling me there's nothing wrong with my account.
4. I was also able to set it up to log in using my biometric data.Love the ability to lock and unlock my credit report so easily! I ran into the same issues as others mentioned at first with app not able to reach servers and log in.
5. Very concerning.***UPDATE*** Got email back saying You sent a message to an Equifax address that is used only to receive mail - the mailbox is not monitored and you will not receive a reply to your message.
6. When you try to call, it takes forever for someone to get on the line.App never works! Always claims wrong login credentials.
7. Once I signed up with my credentials, a soft pull was made against Equifax to confirm my identity and a verification code sent to me.
8. The update didn't appear in my app store until I used the app and tried to login- phones recognize what apps you're using now and just keep those up-to-date.
9. Once I updated the app though, I was able to login again without a problem.I have been trying for months to get access back to this app.
10. That's funny, because it's still able to be downloaded from the Google play store!! I'm beyond frustrated with this.Didn't work to start with.
11. Customer service is extremely difficult to communicate with and asks for all of your personal data and provides no resolution.
