SecurLOCK Equip Customer Insights

1. Only two downsides to be aware of - do not for the love of God forget your password! Also, if you don't have a good connection to the internet when you try to access you will be unable to view details about notifications or lock/unlock the card.

2. I'm definitely disappointed, as this app came highly recommended by my credit union after fraudulent charges were made using my debit card.This app is good WHEN it is working.

3. It takes a significant amount of time to make changes to your card, so it's difficult to use if you need to quickly turn on your card.Awful, it keeps denying my payment for my phone bill.

4. Annoying.Does exactly what it's supposed to - allows immediate access to lock and unlock use of the card and sends instant notifications of pending or attempted transactions.

5. I was hoping this would protect my debit card from another fraudulent purchase ( which by the way I am still waiting on the results of their investigation, and it's been 2 months).

6. After entering my card info, the screen glitches and flickers with a pop-up that states the app cannot be opened until terms and conditions are agreed upon.

7. The alert system works great! I just wish I could put my MECU credit card on it.

8. Anytime the app says it' looking for the server, means the app has stopped working and you must uninstall the app and reinstall the program otherwise it will not work.This app was helpful for about 3 days.

9. I removed my debit card from this worthless app.

10. I set things up... watched the card usage... then it locked me out.

11. Other than that, I truly love the app because it keeps my credit and debit cards safe.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SecurLOCK Equip Issues

1. Fix SecurLOCK Equip Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SecurLOCK Equip: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SecurLOCK Equip App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SecurLOCK Equip" » Open SecurLOCK Equip » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SecurLOCK Equip » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SecurLOCK Equip app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SecurLOCK Equip servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SecurLOCK Equip" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SecurLOCK Equip app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SecurLOCK Equip might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SecurLOCK Equip. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SecurLOCK Equip then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SecurLOCK Equip not working


2. Fix SecurLOCK Equip Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SecurLOCK Equip be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SecurLOCK Equip not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SecurLOCK Equip may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
