1. Another thing is we sometimes have multiple drivers running off of one login and this new version won't let two stops be open at the same timeNo widget--a bad deletion from what they now call the "legacy" version! Notification controls buried in app info advanced fields!!! Splitting work into completely separate, although linked, entries instead of continuing the combined version in the legacy app offers me no perceivable benefit, particularly regarding visual workflow--cluttered! I still use the superior "legacy" version.

Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, taking my battery out and putting it back in, nothings working.The Widget option is gone and the app needs to show a multi-stop route map for Pick ups and Deliveries if it's intended for "Drivers"Version from a couple of years back was superior in every way.

3. Now that I cannot connect my scanner to this app, which used to always appear in my list of bluetooth scanners, and the scanner connects to my phone just fine, I have one heck of a time scanning my mail bags after sorting or during loading.

4. In your legacy version, you give us the ability to have several route logins saved and I would like to see this implimented here.

5. I tried to get into the system today to work, and it said the version wasnt supported and to update.

6. No dark mode--very up to date--HAH!!! One benefit, ability to take pictures within a ticket, with geotagging.For the first time ever, im having an issue with this app.

7. Still takes up to ten minutes to see jobs sometimes.D4D Legacy works better; this new app crashes and freeze constantly, also some stops after completing do not show up in the website and later in the day appear back as incomplete.

8. Didn't have those issues with old version.The app does not verify the map point it assigns to the map icon.

9. I love that this app is an updated version, but I do have a couple things I would like to be addressed.

10. I tried all android tricks, nothing work.App worked sporadically when first downloaded, sometimes slow and other times not at all.

11. I wish I had never updated to this version.Password deleted, and I can't save it anymore.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Datatrac Issues

1. Fix Datatrac Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Datatrac: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Datatrac App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Datatrac" » Open Datatrac for Drivers » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Datatrac » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Datatrac for Drivers app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Datatrac servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Datatrac for Drivers" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Datatrac app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Datatrac might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Datatrac. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Datatrac then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Datatrac not working


2. Fix Datatrac Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Datatrac be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Datatrac not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Datatrac may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
