4. It has made an error in balance totals, but not often and was easily noticed when comparing against the bank register Only con is the FREQUENT full screen ad that has sound and until the timer runs out, you cannot silence or stop the ad.

5. It can be backed up, but you have to do it manually and save it in an external drive and then download to sync across devices.All of a sudden, my month end balance is different from the next month's starting balance.

1. Fix Simple Checkbook Ledger Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Simple Checkbook Ledger: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Simple Checkbook Ledger App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Simple Checkbook Ledger" » Open Simple Checkbook Ledger » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Simple Checkbook Ledger » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Simple Checkbook Ledger app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Simple Checkbook Ledger servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Simple Checkbook Ledger" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Simple Checkbook Ledger app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Simple Checkbook Ledger might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Simple Checkbook Ledger. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Simple Checkbook Ledger then reinstall.
