1. A photo display application like a digital photo frame showing a nice slideshow of all photos from the selected source. * Choose a local folder, a samba/windows network share (anonymous and authenticated access supported). * Digital Photo Frame will randomly display the photos in the folder and arrange them on the screen according to your selected layout. * The orientation of the photos is fixed if the EXIF tag is present. * Open an image from another application and use that folder as photo source. * Click on a displayed photo to show it full screen and share, edit or delete the photo. * For local folders, thumbnails are shown during folder selection.
2. Turn your android device in a digital photo viewer showing a slideshow of local files, photos from network shares (samba/smb).
3. Premium is the ad-free version of digital photo frame, there is also an ad-supported version in the play store.
4. Digital Photo Frame is optimized for tablet(HD) use but also works on a phone.
5. The photos can also be selected from your Flickr, Google Photos or Dropbox account.
6. Thank you for your support.
7. Digital Photo Frame uses jcifs-ng ( ) for network shares.
1. I particularly like (1) works properly on several devices I have tried it on (2) pulls photos from a network drive (e.g. USB stick plugged in to my router) (3) Auto-start mechanism works well (4) Displays all the JPEG formats that i have thrown at it so far (which is more than can be said for some apps) (5) Flexible options for things like transitions, caching, photo order, etc.
2. I contacted the app author who was very quick to respond and provided me all the help I needed to get the photo frame app working again for me.Edit: it's fixed! Old review: The free version works fine.
3. Finally have my favourite photo app working again! Thanks! Post Android 9 comments here about not starting should probably be ignored now as outdated.Overall nice and easy to use, but for some reason does not display the directory path even when this option is checked, which is a drawback. Can't edit reviews.
4. Latest Google Play version won't let me select a directory on an SD card, for slideshow.
5. However my premium purchase from Google Play is not recognized on the Amazon Appstore version.
6. I bought the premium version right away - very good for the price.Used to be a great app on an Amazon Fire.
7. The Amazon Appstore version seems to allow SD card directories.
8. It doesn't find files in folders that have pictures and only sees a few folders in local storage. This is the best photo frame app I have found so far.
9. So not sure whether to replace with something else. The recent Jan 11 update is no longer allowing manual photo selections, please go back to the original way of seletion.
10. Hard to find the perfect slideshow app.No longer works correctly.
11. Even with caching enabled, full size digital camera photos on LAN open very slowly & cause delay opening even with 15 sec interval between.
