Get with the times (pun intended), you have decent journalists and great writing, having such a minimilistic app interface isnt the compliment you think it is.Incredibly disappointing, I like to get the news from a variety of different sources and the Independent is one that routinely used to provide quality middle of the ground news compared to others with far leaning left/right views, I tried this app even after looking at the myriad of negative views thinking it can't be "that bad" but the app is horrendous in terms of format, and ease of use.

I would strongly advise the creators of this app to look at something like the Guardian who have a very layout for news in a way that allows someone to easily filter about a certain type of news rather than have to filter through the newspaper itself.For the past week I have been unable to access The Independent Daily Edition.

Only 4 stars as the puzzle software is a bit flaky and sometimes needs a reset to get it to work.I started a subscription to this paper, however there is no way that I can change my password as I have forgotten, the app and website are a complete shambles and may as well be designed by pre schoolers.

5. But they really need to do something about the app.They have taken the term digital newspaper very literally and put very minimal effort into making articles into a digital, easy to read format.

6. I did look into option of taking out a direct subscription withe Independent but for Premium you have to pay £149 in one go for the year but am worried if I still can't access it I won't get refund.

7. I love the daily edition, but it could be so so much better.Disappointing. For a newspaper that has offiically moved to the web; this app doesn't follow a modern infrastructure.

8. For example: I would love for my google pixelbook to have a tablet sized format rather than phone size.
