1. Avoid this one, you have to pay full subscription for up to date news, all you get is old news for cheaper option.Best Irish newspaper app by far (this from a Cork woman who is a lifelong reader of The Examiner, and I hate to say it but their app is not great).
2. App keeps crashing, not worth itPure junk, they can't even sync the account from a webpage and the app, one i have a subscription the other i don't, or is that part of the trap ? To top it all off its more fake media or more like manipulated media ? Cancelling the account.
3. I have a subscription which was on offer, I would recommend this app to any person who lives on the island of Ireland or to the Irish abroad who want to stay updated on all things from home.Loved the app before with adverts.
4. I have fibreoptic broadband at home and no matter where my location my experience is the same, i have reloaded the app but to no avail over all very poor performance from irish independent, I will be moving to Irish times to try my luck there.App used to be great.
5. Shane Ross would be a particular favourite of mine as he is always willing to take on the establishment where he sees fit.New updated version is rubbish, many images and photos are cut or too enlarged to view.
6. Very harsh!Initially for 2 months I could read full articles for the past 9 months the articles keeping dropping out and reloading 2 sec later it drops again reload.
7. I have just opened it after updating it and I am disappointed that most of the articles are premium and you are charging €9.99 a month for access.....way too pricey.
8. Majority of columns and reports are now set to premium version which comes at a hefty price tag.
9. However now that the huge majority of articles are "premium", I have no choice but to ditch the app.
10. Can make the odd mistake but that comes with reporting on live news stories.
11. There is plenty of news source out there that have no payment wall.Top class paper very informative.
