1. Now, a data breach? How could anyone get any data from it when that all it does is crash when you use it, freezes up on screens, and the news stories are riddled with spelling errors or omitted information in articles.
2. Aggravating: when it links sites you need a paid account to view; when swiping up to scroll a page instead takes you back to the app main screen; and along with that when the articles on the main screen refresh and the one you were just trying to read is no longer there.Too many commercials and adds.
3. The "articles" in the shopping group have not changed in a year or so, as well as a particular article about making lasagne in a regular news section.
4. When I click on the story in my notifications tab I have to click my exit button 4 times to get this app to close out, each time it brings up ads, a list if other stories, another list of stories then it closes out.
5. Yet, I receive notifications -- I can't tell if it's from Briefing or Flipboard, because the little upside-down staircase icon appears to be for both entities (very confusing).
6. I've used flipboard for many years and it was an easy to use news aggregator but it's time for me to acknowledge it's more trouble than it's worth.
7. Took up way to much memory and storage (to keep installed) and most stories were from U.K, Germany, France, ect? news, while I live in the U.S. Not really impressed with the app,.
8. Third, after a crash, you need to start all over again.Update: Not only can I not uninstall this garbage, but now I've received an email indicating that they've had a data breach.
9. Glad to receive the notice but I could have been better protected by BEING ALLOWED TO UNINSTALL IT; so irritating! Original Review: Bloatware I don't want and can't get rid of.
10. For those interested, swipe away from the flipboard screen and click an empty part of the home screen.
11. It will also remove flipboard from one of your acessable screens. This app notifies me of random stories frequently throughout the day.
