1. Thank you to the developers of this app!Traditional and cultural martial art schools will require very personal masters; this app provides an animated, cartoon master for you! Surprisingly clear and instructive moves and stances; it is my first master! My reminder is I had to consult lots of YouTube videos, to learn from many other Tai chi masters! Animated master is not bad!would be nice to have some verbal instructions in a more broken down tutorial first.
2. Small suggestions to make it even better: More breakdown of moves would help as awkward to follow movement whilst watching small box in top of screen, but mainly because form doesn't show on it well.
3. I would have given the app a 5 star, but it does not have a session where each movement is shown how its used in combat..in the near future please do so.. Beautiful app ever..☹ Oh this seemed so perfect, a wonderful resource to learn Tai Chi but has 1 serious flaw: movements aren't mirrored.
4. When trying to learn a new form without a teacher, always adhere to the tai chi classics.
5. One must consciously do opposite to what is shown on screen to follow written instructions (i.e., when it says "right leg", 'video' shows left leg, etc., so you absolutely cannot follow along exactly).
6. I love the music also,it gives that calm sense as I practice... Casting the visual on my TV gives the practice session more clarity and a deep feeling of a master's presence.
7. (it took me a bit longer, but I didn't practice every day and I didn't want to learn more sometimes).
8. Don't expect it to do everything for you and put in some effort and you'll do fine.Great app to learn the 24 form Tai Chi.
9. This is probably the best so far but it really needs a voice coach (I can't read the little screen while doing the moves!) and the little animated man needs a pause and a slow button.
10. A separate pause button on the full size 3d one that plays all the moves might solve the above instead of having to scroll through the speeds to find the pause.
11. Learn the classics and the history first.Very good app so far.
